Shrimp trawl - Our Georgia shrimp trawl exhibit features an interactive multimedia kiosk where you can watch underwater video of dolphins and sea turtles interacting with shrimp nets, and learn about Georgia's commercial and recreational fisheries. The exhibit also includes live shrimp and a scale-model shrimp net and Turtle Excluder Device (TED).

Diamondback terrapin - Diamond terrapins are the only turtles in this area that can be found in the brackish waters of the salt marsh, and are often called marsh terrapins. Take care when driving on the causeway through the marsh on your way to Jekyll in the spring and summer, as mother terrapins are moving about during nesting season. Watch for turtles crossing the road!
